We are proud to announce that Prometeus Labs along with TON Labs became a founding member of Telegram Open Network Community Foundation (TCF). Prometeus will be one of the first adopted protocols for Telegram Open Network upon its mainnet release.

Prometeus protocol will be integrated with TON blockchain and allow developers, who are building applications on top of TON to utilize and implement a trustless decentralized data exchange mechanism.

“TON foundation is currently the biggest developers community of TON blockchain, which includes over 20 teams with over 2000 developers. We believe that our participation will help teams to improve their upcoming products and make a next step to a trustless and censorship-free future”- core Prometeus protocol contributor Vladislavs Semjonovs says.

TON is currently under the attack of SEC due to its fundraising scheme. You can know more from coindesk article. Prometeus Labs express full support to Telegram open network in their battle against SEC.

About Prometeus

Prometeus is layer two, so it can be implemented by the majority of existing blockchains. Our primary goal is to utilize the public blockchain to achieve a decentralized, trustless and censorship-resistant framework for exchange/share data across various fields and implementations. Our current implementations include data trading/sharing marketplace and firewall resistant social media solutions.

The platform is protected by a built-in proxy and anonymizer. The list of services offered includes messaging, Gram cryptocurrency and many others. The transactions that will take place on this blockchain do not require waiting and a large fee and are executed as quickly as Visa and Mastercard. The blockchain works on the principle of the Proof-of-stake protocol, which makes transactions secure. The architecture consists of one blockchain and 292 additional networks. The blockchain will support sharding technology, which will speed up the generation of new blocks and increase the speed of transactions.
