Dear prometeus community! As far as you all know Prometeus Labs always were supporting transparency. Transparency is one of the most important things, especially if we are talking about product related things. That’s why we would like to dedicate coming week to Prometeus framework. Welcome to Prometeus insights #1 and let’s get started.
Today we would like to talk with you about prom explorer in details. You might be thinking that you know everything about project explorers and we can’t tell you anything that you don’t know, but give us a chance to convince you that you’re wrong :)
First of all: Prometeus explorer currently shows only business transactions, generated by smart-contracts (it will support P2P transactions, but a little bit later). It means, that you will be able to see data deals, not token transfers.
Usually, blockchain explorer indicates only few things: timestamp, tx hash, amount of currency, contract address and wallets of sender/receiver. In order to move from blockchain explorer to business blockchain explorer, we have to add few more things (that also brings more transparency to the blockchain):
- Operation type: Upload (when you downloading your data to Prometeus framework) and Purchase (when you are selling/buying data on data mart);
- Service node: so you can see which node proceed the transaction;
- Data validator: so you can see which validator confirmed your transaction;
- We also deleted option to check data receiver through our explorer, to keep him anonymous.
In our opinion taking a step forward from blockchain explorer to business blockchain explorer increases transparency and trust to blockchain solution of data brokerage.
