We’re thrilled to finally celebrate the very anticipated launch of Prom mainnet, a scalable network based on Polygon CDK built with the three pillars of blockchain performance in mind: security, efficiency, and transaction speed.
As a courtesy to our testnet supporters, we will surely highlight some of the major milestones of the testnet further in the article and will steadily shift to unveiling info on the mainnet launch, plans, and projects that we’ve worked closely with to make it all possible.
Quick Run Through: Wrapping Up the Testnet Phase
We were incredibly happy to see the amount of activity and support throughout the testnet phase and the growing number of contributors growing daily.
We’ve finalized the testnet phase with over 26,000,000+ of total network transactions and 2,500,000+ of UAWs. These numbers have exceeded our most ambitious plans for the testnet, and we, once again, thank all the participants for the impact: your feedback regarding on-chain experience directly helped our team identify the missing pieces and was further used to prepare the network for the mainnet.
We’re preparing a plan of actions for participants of the Delegate and Validator campaigns, so please be attentive and look out for further instructions for us to smoothly transition to the reward distribution phase.
Mainnet Contributors & Partners
We’ve closely worked with an extensive number of advisors, infrastructure providers, and security partners to ensure that we tick all the needed boxes of quality and network integrity.
As mentioned above, Prom’s architecture is powered by Polygon CDK, a modular, open-source framework for building sovereign, zk-based networks. By leveraging Polygon’s CDK, we have integrated an advanced zk-based stack, ensuring enhanced security, privacy, and transaction efficiency. This framework helped us to achieve interoperability and performance benchmarks critical to zk-based networks, while maintaining the flexibility to customize our solution to meet specific use cases.
Another major impact on convenient mainnet transition was made by Hyperlane, permissionless interoperability protocol for cross-chain communication. By eliminating barriers commonly associated with bridging, Hyperlane enables users to transition effortlessly between Prom and other networks, being in charge of our bridging solutions coming to life.
Special thanks go to Gateway, a powerful infrastructure provider that helped us streamline the development and deployment process with a wide range of versatile tools benefiting our zk-stack.
And kudos to SQD, decentralized ecosystem for data access, unlocking blockchain information at incredible speed and scale, effectively used by Prom to access Web3 data to power the network operations.
